Initial consultation:
In order to save time before the initial consultation we will request you complete and email us our questionnaire. That way we have sufficient information to get started before we even get to meeting with you. Consultations can take place at your home or on-line if preferred.
To serve you the best it is a good idea to be able to see, in person ,the areas of your home that you would like us to assist you with. If that is not practical or possible it can be done through photographs or video walk through.
Our approach is personal thereby ensuring the options we recommend will fit perfectly within your existing furnishings and space. As every project is unique we will take all the time to help establish the scope of your project, the style you desire and your budget. to accomplish your overall project goals. An in-home consultation takes about an hour. After that we will email you with a couple of design options and ideas.
If we are in agreement to proceed further we will arrange a second appointment to pull together all the products and design . We will work with you from the idea stage all the way through to the delivery and installation phase if that is what you wish.
A point to note:
Redecorating and remodeling is not always required to create the space you desire. Everyone has their own style and often all that is needed is a professional eye to make the best use of the space. Sometimes all it takes is re-arranging and re-organizing your space, or changing out some colors to create the right ambience and look for your home.
Accessories allow you to inject your personality into your home, and can change the look or feel completely with out having to start from scratch. Once the color scheme has been determined it become the canvas for the accessories like mirrors, rugs, artwork etc. Lighting is one of those accessories that can make or break your room. We will assist you in determining the best fixtures that reflect your personality and style.
The in home tour helps us understand the space, lighting and other elements that should be considered in the design plan. Your style and the functionality of each space along with existing furnishings that need to be included in the plan are also determined.
An inventory and photographs are taken as well as all window and room measurements so that we have a full understanding of the space and can create a unique design just for you.
Before the full design process begins and during this initial consultation both style and budget are agreed upon. A follow up appointment is set before our design work begins.
In our workshop sketches, renderings and floor plans are created, along with paint colors, wall coverings, fabrics, lighting and furnishings, accessories, bedding, window treatments and finish selections are determined.
On the follow up presentation day we reveal the recommendations for creating a room of your dreams with your style, functionality and budget in mind. Together we discuss the presentation and make any adjustments to the design according to your ideas.
